ELIGIBILITY & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Open only to residents of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin ("Participating Markets") at the time of entry, and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, or at least the legal age of majority in the state in which they reside at the time of entry (the "Entrant").

You understand that you are providing your information to Citi Trends, Inc. and by entering this Sweepstakes, you may receive texts and Citi Trends, Inc. emails. To participate, you must have a text capable cell phone, computer, or access to a device to enter or utilize the entry format.

By texting, you authorize Administrators to send an autodialed reply text to the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Your Text is your electronic signature agreeing to these terms and giving electronic written consent. Text method of entry requires 2-way text message capable phone and digital service. For every text you send, you will receive 1 text reply back.

Standard text messaging rates apply to each text message sent or received as provided in your wireless rate plan (contact your carrier for pricing plans and details). By entering this Sweepstakes via your wireless mobile device, data rates may apply according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. The Sponsor and Administrators and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, franchisees, distributors, dealers, sales representatives, retailers, printers, individuals engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials, their advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes agents (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities"), and each of their immediate family members (as defined by the IRS) and/or people living in the same household, are not eligible to participate or to win. All eligibility is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. All entries submitted are the property of the Sponsor. The Administrators’ computer server will be the official timekeeper for all matters related to this Sweepstakes.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrators which are legally binding and final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited.

SWEEPSTAKES TIMING: The Citi Trends® American Summer Text 2 Win Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") entry period begins in stores and online on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 12:01:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EST”) and ends on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 11:59:59 p.m. ("EST") (the "Sweepstakes Period"). There will be six (6) drawing periods to award prizes ("Entry Periods") (see below). Entry in this Sweepstakes does not constitute entry into any other sweepstakes, contest or promotion.

HOW TO ENTER:

a) Via text message. To enter the Sweepstakes drawing text Summer to 84444 which will direct you to the online registration page. Complete all the required information on the entry form, including your ZIP code within the Participating Market of which you are a legal resident, agree to the Official Rules and submit your entry.

b) Via website. Visit https://cititrends.com/Summer. Complete all the required information on entry form, including your ZIP code within the Participating Market of which you are a legal resident, agree to these Official Rules and submit the entry.

c) Via mail. If you do not have an electronic device capable of the entry methods listed above, you may mail a postcard to be entered into the Sweepstakes. The postcard must contain your full name, complete mailing address, age, telephone number, and the word SUMMER to: Citi Trends Americana Text 2 Win Sweepstakes, PO Box 2312, Framingham, MA 01703-2312. Entries will be placed into the drawings based on the delivery date to the PO Box. No photocopies, facsimiles or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen or postage due entries, or mail delivery dates.

Limit: No matter which form of entry that you select, you may only enter one (1) time during the relevant six (6) Entry Periods within the Sweepstakes Period. Entries in excess of the stated limitation and entries generated by script, macro or other automated means, or any means that subverts the entry process, will be void. Eligible entries for one Entry Period drawing WILL NOT BE carried forward to any remaining Entry Period drawings (if any remain). The Entry Period drawings will be conducted under the supervision of the Administrators.

Email and other information collected may be used for promotional marketing specifically and only as it relates to Citi Trends. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Sweepstakes. Tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes is prohibited and any entries deemed by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to have been submitted in this manner would be void. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer, network, or telephone connection malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access Provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

PRIZES, LIMIT & ODDS: Only the prizes listed below will be awarded in this Sweepstakes.

Prizes: Each Entry Period will award the following prizes.

• Twenty (20) $10 Citi Trends® Gift Cards. Total retail value of each prize is equal to $10.
• Twenty (20) $25 Citi Trends® Gift Cards. Total retail value of each prize is equal to $25.
• Ten (10) $50 Citi Trends® Gift Cards. Total retail value of each prize is equal to $50.

The total of all gift card prizes to be awarded during each Entry Period within the Sweepstakes Period is equal to $1,200. Gift Cards are redeemable at participating Citi Trends retail stores only. Gift cards are not redeemable online through the company's website at www.cititrends.com. Terms and conditions of the Gift Card apply. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value should the Prize become unavailable for any reason.

Limit: One (1) prize per individual or household over each Entry Period within the Sweepstakes Period.

Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.

No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. All unclaimed prizes at the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period will not be awarded. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in the disqualification of the potential winner and no alternate winner will be selected.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

Random drawings will be conducted based on the schedule listed above from all eligible entries received during the relevant drawing Entry Period. Potential prize winners will be notified by phone and/or by email or mail, whichever is deemed appropriate by the Administrators. Sponsor shall have no liability for any prize winning notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by any potential prize winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, any potential prize winner does not respond within (2) days of the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential prize winner, such potential prize winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate potential prize winner may be selected. If any potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential prize winner may be selected.

Any gift card prize will be awarded only if the potential prize winner fully complies with these Official Rules. Prize is provided on an "as is" basis, without any warranty of any kind. Prize is non-transferable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of equal or greater value if the advertised prize (or portion thereof) becomes unavailable. Prize winner is responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, local taxes, if any, and any other unspecified expenses associated with acceptance or use of the Prize. Prize winners with a prize value of $600 or more will be required to complete, sign and return the Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and, where lawful and/or required, Publicity Release forms and W-9 request for tax payer’s identification number within (5) days of receipt The Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release must be returned and then the cash prize will be issued.

GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS/CONDITIONS: BY ENTERING, EACH ENTRANT agrees for entrant and for entrant’s heirs, executors, and administrator (A) to release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, "Released Parties") from any liability, claim, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of prize or any portion thereof (including any travel related thereto); (B) that Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose; and (C) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error therein or in the Sweepstakes itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsor which are binding and final. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Sponsor makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any Prize furnished in connection with the Sweepstakes. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, SUCH PRIZES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

DISQUALIFICATION/FORCE MAJEURE: Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, inaccurate, or stolen, submissions or prize notifications. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsman-like or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated or other automated multiple entries will be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. In the event an insufficient number of eligible entries are received and/or Sponsor is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), then Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes. Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded. If, for any reason, more bona fide winners come forward seeking to claim prizes in excess of the number of each type of prize set forth in these Official Rules, the winners, or remaining winners, as the case may be, of the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question may be selected in a random drawing from among all persons making purportedly valid claims for such prize(s). These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued in accordance with law by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the state of Georgia; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) unless otherwise prohibited, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and waives any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and waives any and all rights to injunctive or other equitable relief. If the controversy or claim is not otherwise resolved through direct discussions or mediation, it shall then be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc. in accordance with its streamlined arbitration rules and procedures or subsequent versions thereof. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of Georgia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the state of Georgia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the state of Georgia.
